Achtung Panzer!

Now here is the Anti-Tank guide, should help us become more coordinated when fighting tanks

Campaign:
Usually you can hear the tank before hand, if not then one of your teammates will be like TANK!
First things first, locate that bitch! You need to know where he is coming from. If you have a gas can, use that, as they do more damage, other wise use a molotov. Once hes on fire RUN!, if you are playing expert it is Imperative you do this. If you get hit you are dead, one hit will incap, then two hits on the ground will kill. When you are running, and this is assuming you are not limping, you can out run the tank easily, ONLY if you are looking FORWARD. Don't look back and shoot, unless you have some distance from the tank. Once you get to a open area spread out and pump rounds into the tank while keeping distance, just watch out for rocks! The tank will die after about 40-80 secs respectivly. After that then you can be like we did! Then here comes the zombie hoard...

Versus:
While you are playing versus, you usually won't here the tank until the music starts playing, so you'll need to organize quickly and plan Now depending on what terrain you have will determine what type of strategy you will need to use. But first you should always follow these guidlines:
Try and ignite that mother fucker
kill off any teammates (especally the boomer)
have a plan of escape

With that said you need to know what could be tossed at you, logs, cars, forklifts,etc... if there are lots of those things around, then you'll need to find a better place to fight the tank off. Open terrain is best, if there isn't a lot of cars around. Corning up can work, but it some times it can go wrong. If the other team is good enough, the tanks teammates will hit you first to make you become disorganized and the tank you move in and finish you off. So if possible running around the tank is usually the best bet. Never let the tank cut anyone off, cuz a hunter can kill someone very easily. If you are going to light the tank, don't pull out your molo RIGHT away, becuase that will make you a HUGE target real fast instead, wait until you can see the tank(or you know hes real close) and it is commited to attacking you, then throw away, JUST DON'T MISS! An experianced tank will try and make you throw too soon so keep that in mind. Also, COVER the man with the molies if he gets pounced or pulled for even a second, that could buy enough time for the tank to move in. Once the tank is on fire, try and gain some distance from it (if the tank isn't on fire, just continue as you would as if he is on fire, it will just be a longer fight) and get to some what of an open area, just stay away from movable objects, then spread out and fire on the tank. Just keep an eye out for its teammates. The best teams the go against tanks do not corner up. Cornering up should only be used a LAST resort, one of your teammates will defeantly get hurt, and only 3 of you will be able to shoot the tank as the other one gets a beat down.

Other Tips:
If an AI tank has incaped a teammate an begins to beat him while he is on the ground, you can melee the tank from behind to make the tank run after you (take 1-2 melee hits)

Always check for rocks! The only way to dodge is to change direction AFTER the rock is thrown

Use propane tanks, or dumb boomers against the tank, if they explode next to the tank it will knock it back stunning it and maybe even make it fall off an edge

DO NOT JUMP while the tank is trying to hit you, it doens't make you harder to hit, and when you get hit, you will fly farther away and more damge can be done to you

Make the tank climb and shoot it as he climbs(in versus the player controlled tank cant jump up onto things like the AI tank can, use this to your advantage)
